Whiteboard and boards

A board is a whiteboard a Spark can draw on while you talk. It is good for flows, mind maps, timelines, comparisons, 2x2 grids, simple charts and rough screen mockups.

On a call​

Tap Board during a call, or ask the Spark to sketch something. The first time, Calynta asks Share a board? ("It will see everything you sketch, live."). Choose Open the board, or Stay on voice. Say yes once and it stops asking. You can change this later in Profile → Permissions → Shared boards.

The Spark's strokes are tinted and labelled AI, so you can always tell its marks from yours.

In chat​

Ask for a diagram in chat and the board card draws itself piece by piece as the Spark writes it.

Two ways to view a board​

  • Live: an animated reveal, the default on calls.
  • Edit: a full drawing canvas, the default for saved boards. You can draw, move and change things. The Spark treats your marks as yours.

Made to be readable​

The Spark sizes text for the screen the board is on, and checks its own work for overlapping or too-small text and fixes it.

Saving and sharing​

  • Boards save automatically. Every board with something on it appears in Artifacts.
  • You can share a board by link. Anyone with the link can view the board, but not who made it or the call's transcript.
Treat a board link like a secret

A shared board link cannot be switched off from the app yet. Only share it with people you trust.
