Questions​

Is Calynta a person?​

No. Every Spark is an AI assistant. Video avatars are always labelled as AI.

What is the difference between Calynta and a Spark?​

A Spark is any AI assistant in the app. Calynta is the name of the app and of your main Spark, the head of your team.

Do I need a new chat for each topic?​

No. Each Spark has one permanent Space with you. Just keep talking.

Does Calynta remember everything?​

It learns from your conversations over time, one Space at a time. It starts with nothing on a new account. The Brain shows what it knows and where each item came from.

Are my calls recorded?​

No. Calls are not recorded, and there is no setting to turn recording on.

Can Calynta call my phone number?​

No. A scheduled call rings through the Calynta app to your phone's own call screen. It does not use your phone number.

Does Calynta send emails or posts without asking?​

No. Anything a Spark sends, posts or changes through a connected app waits for your approval first. See Connected apps.

Can I use Calynta for free?​

A subscription or an invite code is needed to open Calynta. Once you are in, the Free chat model keeps you chatting when credits run low.

Where are my files and pictures?​

In the Space where they were sent or made. They are not listed in Artifacts yet.

Troubleshooting​

My Spark did not call me​

A scheduled call checks everything when it is due, not when you booked it. Check that:

  1. You are on a phone, not the web. Browsers cannot ring.
  2. Notifications are allowed for Calynta (Profile → Permissions).
  3. Your account has access and credits (Profile → Credits).
  4. You did not already have 3 calls booked in the same 24 hours.
  5. You did not book it through the Schedule a call screen. That screen does not book a real call yet. Ask the Spark: "Call me at 8."

The call's card in your Space shows what happened: Missed, Declined, Could not connect, and so on. A call rings for 45 seconds before it counts as missed.

I can't see Telegram​

Telegram is paused and switched off, so it does not appear in the app. It is coming later.

I can't find the Explore tab​

Explore was replaced by Pulse. The directory of Sparks now opens from your team on Pulse, or from the empty Chats screen.

A call will not start​

  • "Microphone access is needed": allow the microphone in your device settings.
  • "You're out of Calynta credits": see See plans, or wait for the monthly reset.
  • "Calling is temporarily unavailable" or "We couldn't start the call": try again in a moment.
  • A model shows Not available at the moment: choose another call model.

The avatar disappeared during a call​

If nobody speaks for 90 seconds the avatar rests and shows a still picture. The call is still live: just talk. If the avatar could not load, the call continues as voice.

My first words got lost on a group call​

The Spark follows one speaker at a time, and the first words after the floor moves can be missed. Guests can tap Ask my Calynta before speaking to their own Calynta.

A picture will not load​

After two automatic tries the card says The picture didn't load. Tap to try again. Tap it. If it says Not enough credits to make this one, check your credits.

My page watch stopped​

After 5 failed checks in a row, a watch pauses itself and you get one "Stopped tracking" notice. Open Profile → Tracking and tap Resume. Some pages cannot be tracked at all: pages behind a login, pages built by scripts, and pages that redirect.

My routine stopped running​

A routine pauses itself after 10 failures in a row. Open Profile → Scheduled, check the last runs, and switch it back to Running. You can have up to 20 active routines.

The Spark says it needs me to sign in​

It has reached a login page in the shared browser. Tap Jump in, sign in yourself, then tap Done, continue. Calynta never asks for your password.

I can't drag a file into the chat​

Drag and drop is not supported yet. Use + to open the attach sheet, or paste an image.

Search inside chats is not available yet.

My message is stuck in Up next​

Only one reply runs at a time, so later messages wait their turn. If you are offline, they send when you are back. A message that failed shows Retry: it is never re-sent on its own.

I deleted something. Is it gone from memory?​

Deleting a document removes it from what the Spark can look up. Deleting or editing a message does not guarantee that what the Spark learned from it is gone. See Forgetting: the honest version.
