Shared browser

A Spark can use a real web browser for you: open pages, read them, fill in forms, save a page as a PDF, and download files. The browser is shared, not a takeover. You watch the same page, and you can act on it at any moment.

Following along​

When a Spark starts browsing, a browser card appears in your Space. Open it to watch live. On a call, switch to the Browser view.

Jump in​

Jump in is always there while the browser is running. It opens the browser so you can scroll, tap and type yourself. While the Spark is still working you see "Calynta is on it too": you are both on the same page, so tell the Spark if you want it to wait.

Signing in​

A Spark never asks for your password. When a page needs a login, the card says Calynta needs you to sign in on this page, and the status reads Your turn. Sign in yourself on the page, then tap Done, continue (or tell the Spark to carry on). Password and payment fields always need you.

Saved logins​

Once you sign in to a site, Calynta can stay signed in for next time. Profile → Connections → Saved browser logins lists those sites, most recent first.

  • The login lives in an isolated cloud browser, never on your device, and Calynta never sees your password.
  • Forget any site at any time.
  • A saved login means the site data is there, not that the site will still accept it.
  • Logins are shared across your Sparks for the same site, unless you choose otherwise.

Mobile or desktop view​

The browser shows desktop pages by default. Switch to mobile view to get the phone version of a site. Switching reloads open pages; turning your phone or resizing the window does not, so a half-filled form survives. The setting applies to all your Spaces.

Skills for sites and apps​

Before working on a site, a Spark can read a short written how-to for that site. This is a guide, not a permission: it never lets a Spark skip your approval.

Profile → Permissions → Fetch skills for sites and apps is on by default. When on, Sparks can read public how-tos from a trusted public library, which never receives your passwords. When off, Sparks use only Calynta's own guides. It applies to every Spark and every device on your account.

Good to know​

  • One browser runs per Space at a time.
  • Browser sessions are recorded by default, including the parts where you took over, so you can replay them from the card. Recordings are kept for up to 31 days.
  • Browser work needs an active subscription.
  • Some sites block automated browsers. Calynta cannot guarantee access to every site.
Recordings include what you do

A session recording covers the whole session, including any time you took over. Keep that in mind before typing anything sensitive on a page.
